[origin: EP2476512A1] The band blower (1) has grinding unit (3) for processing a workpiece (4). A nozzle assembly formed by continuous casting of aluminum or plastic has several nozzles for blowing the air to the grinding unit in relation to their running direction (L). A control device for controlling the stripping of compressed air from the nozzle assembly. The nozzle assembly has several nozzle rows that are located offset to each other. The control unit is arranged at two rows of nozzles, such that nozzles are independently operated with respect to one another. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method for cleaning grinding device; (2) grinding unit; and (3) workpiece processing machine.
