Abstract (en)
The device has a plate (2) joining first and second tubes (1, 3), and a third tube (4) sliding in the second tube. The third tube has a head comprising a fork (5), and a base comprising a bore (8) to receive a pin. The first tube is introduced around a cylinder of a fork of a shoring tower. The third tube supports a post of a balustrade. Two flanges (7) are welded at ends of the first tube, where outer diameter of the flanges is larger than diameter of the cylinder.

Dispositif pour un tour d'étaiement (10) utilisé pour la construction d'un bâtiment, et pour assurer la sécurité des personnels travaillant en hauteur. Ledit dispositif comprend une plaque (2) assemblant un premier tube (1) avec un second tube (3), et un troisième tube (4) coulissant dans le second tube (3) et ayant en tête une fourchette (5) et en base un alésage (8) prévu pour une goupille. Ledit premier tube (1) est destiné à être introduit autour d'un vérin (9) de fourche (16) de la tour d'étaiement (10). Ledit troisième tube mobile (4) est destiné à supporter un potelet (13) standard de garde corps (11). Quatre dispositifs identifiables par leur couleur rouge pour une visibilité parfaite de loin par le chef d'équipe et le grutier, doivent être systématiquement installés aux angles de la tour d'étaiement lors de son montage, en les insérant en même temps que les vérins (9) et leur fourche (16). Ces dispositifs utilisent des potelets (13) et des lisses de garde corps standards (11) sur les tours d'étaiement (10).
