The device has drive component (15) that is designed to interact with chain (4a) of a traversing device for opening and closing a wing of the array. The drive component is reversibly coupled with central lock. A locking device is designed to block the drive component based on position of a mechanical scanner (50). A drive mechanism is integrated into window or door with a chain drive. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) window or door arrangement; and (2) method for operating wing of window assembly or door arrangement.

Vorgeschlagen wird eine Antriebsvorrichtung zur Betätigung eines Zentralverschlusses (3) einer Fenster- oder Türanordnung (100). Eine Antriebskomponente (15) ist ausgebildet, mit einer Kette (4a) einer Verfahreinrichtung (4) zum Öffnen und Schließen eines Flügels (2) der Anordnung (100) form- oder kraftschlüssig zu interagieren, wobei die Antriebskomponente (15) mit dem Zentralverschluss (3) reversibel koppelbar ist. Eine Arretiereinrichtung (150) ist ausgebildet, die Antriebskomponente (15) in Abhängigkeit von einer Stellung eines mechanischen Abtasters (50) zu blockieren. Die Antriebsvorrichtung ist effizient in einen Fenster oder einer Tür mit Kettenantrieb integrierbar. Zusätzliche Elektromotoren oder Steuerungen für die Verriegelung und Entriegelung werden vermieden.
