[origin: WO2011032807A1] In order to enable the conveyance of extremely fine powders with uniform distribution in the gas stream and to prevent or resolve agglomerations of the powder, according to the invention a closed container (2) is filled up to a maximum fill level (4) with powder (5), the powder is impinged in a periodic sequence via at least one gas inlet (3), but preferably four gas inlets, with a gas that is under overpressure, and the whirled up powder/gas mixture (7) flows out of the container via at least one outlet (6), preferably two outlets, arranged above the maximum fill level of the container.
