[origin: WO2010130901A2] The invention relates to a turbine blade wheel for small and average water depths, characterised by the association of: a water admission in the wheel obtained by means of multi-directional flaps (7) that incline and open in such a way as to enable the space between the blades to be 100 % filled; blades comprising a blade closing element (9) and a space (V) for the air to escape, such a closing element enabling the pressurisation (P) of the wheel, eliminating the air pockets, without any overflow inside the wheel; and a lower fixed corridor for ensuring tightness beneath the wheel with a minimum amount of play in order to maintain the pressure (P) constant during the rotation of the wheel. Said association leads to a novel concept for a so-called pressure wheel that operates only as a result of the pressure exerted on the blades with a 100 % filling of the space between the blades.
