[origin: EP2478796A1] The device (1) has inflatable protecting elements e.g. inflatable sleeves, provided with a thin and flexible outer wall (12). The protecting elements are arranged at wrap table legs (2). A cylindrical reinforcing sleeve (3) forms a continuous wall surrounding the protecting elements. The reinforcing sleeve is made of a material having resistance to mechanical and thermal aggressions greater than that of the outer wall of the protecting elements. A decorative sleeve (4), made of leather or fabric, covers the protecting elements and the reinforcing sleeve. The reinforcing sleeve is made of Kevlar(RTM: para-aramid synthetic fiber), thick silicone, metallic mesh, metal sheet or metallic band wound in turns and joined around the protecting elements.
