[origin: EP2479481A2] The strip (1) has an elongate profile body (2), elongate LED printed circuit board (3), and LEDs (4) arranged on the board. A transparent covering strip (5) covers the board. The profile body includes a receiving cavity in which the LED printed circuit board is provided. The profile body includes two retaining projections, which partially define the receiving cavity. The profile body includes a hollow channel, which opens into another receiving cavity. An elongate deformable sealing element (10) is arranged in the hollow channel.
