The system has an air distribution unit (500) whose one end (510) exhibits a connector for coupling with an air supply duct or an air exhaust duct and another end (520) that exhibits multiple connectors (531-534). The distribution unit includes throttle units (550) for partially or completely opening and closing inputs of the latter connectors. The throttle units control air flow via the latter connectors. A recess is provided at an input of the latter connectors for accommodating the throttle units. A removal unit deflects supply air into the supply duct or exhaust air into the exhaust duct. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling an air volume flow of an air distribution system for ventilating a building.

Ein Luftverteilungssystem zum Belüften von Gebäuden weist mindestens eine Luftverteileinheit (20, 500), welche ein erstes Ende mit einem ersten Anschluss (10, 510) zum Koppeln mit einem Zuluftkanal oder einem Abluftkanal und ein zweites Ende (22, 520) mit n zweiten Anschlüssen (531 - 534) zum Koppeln mit Lüftungskanälen (40, 800) aufweist. Die Luftverteileinheit (20, 500) weist außerdem n - 1 Drosseleinheiten (31; 550) zum teilweise oder vollständigen Öffnen und Schließen von n - 1 Eingängen von n - 1 der n zweiten Anschlüsse (532 - 534) auf. Die n - 1 Drosseleinheiten (31; 550) sind dazu ausgestaltet, einen Luftstrom durch die n - 1 zweiten Anschlüsse zu steuern. Das Luftverteilsystem weist außerdem eine Entnahmeeinheit (210) mit einer Umlenkeinheit (315) zum Umlenken von Zuluft in einer Zuluftleitung oder Abluft in einer Abluftleitung.
