[origin: EP2479508A1] The system has an air distribution unit (500) whose one end (510) exhibits a connector for coupling with an air supply duct or an air exhaust duct and another end (520) that exhibits multiple connectors (531-534). The distribution unit includes throttle units (550) for partially or completely opening and closing inputs of the latter connectors. The throttle units control air flow via the latter connectors. A recess is provided at an input of the latter connectors for accommodating the throttle units. A removal unit deflects supply air into the supply duct or exhaust air into the exhaust duct. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling an air volume flow of an air distribution system for ventilating a building.
