[origin: WO2011035449A2] The invention discloses a syringe-type container (100) comprising a hollow main body (110) with a distal outlet opening (111) and a proximal actuation opening (113) for inserting an actuation element (200). A piston is displaceably arranged inside the main body (120) for discharging a flowable product (130) from the container. To reduce the permeability of the container, the main body has a diffusion-reducing barrier layer (140). The outlet opening is closed with a first removable or severable seal (150), and the actuation opening is closed with a second seal (160).
