[origin: WO2011036682A1] There is disclosed a method for replenishing a tank (1) with a pourable product by using: a tube (10) having a pouring opening (14) and fluidically connectable with a source of pourable product arranged, in use, above pouring opening (14); and a replenishing valve (15) comprising a shutter (21), which may move between a closed position in which it prevents pourable product from flowing through pouring opening (14) and an open position in which it allows pourable product to flow through pouring opening (14); the tank (1) is adapted to feed at least a filling station (3) for filling at least a container (2) with pourable product; the method comprises the step of arranging pouring opening (14) below the existing level of pourable product inside tank (1); and moving shutter (21) towards opening position, so as to fill tank (1) by using gravity action,- the method comprises the step of arranging shutter (21) below th level and above pouring opening (14), at least when shutter (21) is arranged into closure position.
