[origin: WO2011036410A1] The invention relates to a functional module including a distributor with a plenum and multiple pipes forming a common attachment and connection plate, a fuel rail and a retainer part for locking the fuel rail in position. The functional module (1) is characterised: in that it is formed by an interlocked arrangement comprising the distributor (2), the fuel rail (7) and the retainer part (9), said fuel rail (7) being held between the retainer part (9) and the distributor (2); and in that the retainer part (9) and the distributor engage to form a longitudinal recess for receiving the fuel rail (7), in which the fuel rail can be locked, the insertion opening of said recess being defined between an arrangement of projections (10) from the retainer part (9) and the plate (5) of the pipes (4).
