Ein Auspressgerät (10) für Kartuschen weist zumindest eine Kolbenstange (16), eine Vorschubeinrichtung (20), die mit der Kolbenstange (16) antriebsmäßig schrittweise koppelbar ist, um die Kolbenstange (16) in eine Auspressrichtung (R) zu bewegen, sowie eine wahlweise einstellbare Steuereinrichtung (22) zur variablen Voreinstellung des Stellwegs (D) der Kolbenstange (16) auf, die bei Erreichen des voreingestellten Stellwegs die Vorschubeinrichtung (20) von der Kolbenstange (16) antriebsmäßig entkoppelt.
