Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2481540A1] The device has independently movable feed units for displacing workpieces (1) in main transport direction. The feed units are provided in transport assembly with respect to carriers (6). The transport arrangement has conveyors with contact surface (7) for contacting workpieces and for spacing workpieces in directions (8,9) transverse to main transport direction. The sawing workpieces are moved along transverse transport path (13) in directions (8,9) orthogonal to main conveyance direction to workpiece support plane (11), and are retracted at the end of transport path. An independent claim is included for method of sawing up two plate-like or plate-stack-shaped workpieces.
