The separating element has a shape of a hand fan wall (1), which is placed in a box (6) in its idle position. The box has doors (7), which are opened. The hand fan fin (2,2',2'') is fastened to a fixed side wall (8) of the box and another fin (2n) is fastened against the fixed side wall at the edge (9) of the openable door. The former fan fin is bordered by strong bars (3,3',3'',3''',3n) of the fan.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Trennelement zum vorübergehenden Abtrennen eines Raums in Form einer Fächerwand (1, 1'), die in ihrer Ruhelage in einem vertikalen Kasten (6) untergebracht ist. Ein Ende des Fächers (1, 1') ist am Kasten (6) befestigt, während das andere Ende an einer aufmachbaren Türe (7) des mit einem horizontalen Drehscharnier (4) versehenen Kastens (6) befestigt ist. Das Trennelement (1) benötigt keine festangebrachten Führungen - wie dies bei den bekannten Balg-Faltwänden oder Wänden mit horizontalen Lamellen der Fall ist - und kann daher leicht verschoben werden. Das Trennelement ist also einfach und sehr flexibel anwendbar und ist zudem kostengünstig, beansprucht wenig Platz und bietet ästhetisch angenehmes Aussehen.
