[origin: WO2011039487A1] The invention relates to a device (12) for diffusing liquid sprayed into a reception zone, said device comprising a vessel (22) that can contain a liquid to be sprayed and at least one diffuser (24) of sprayed liquid, arranged in the vessel. Said diffuser especially comprises an ultrasound emitter. The cleaning method is such that, during an operating phase of the device, during which the device does not diffuse liquid into the receiving zone, the following steps are implemented: a liquid is heated in the vessel to a pre-determined temperature, preferably higher than 60°C, especially between 65°C and 80°C; and the liquid is removed from the vessel by a conduit of the device arranged outside a circuit for diffusing the liquid sprayed into the receiving zone.
