[origin: WO2011039166A1] The invention relates to a switching device disposed on a centrifugal pump unit, wherein the switching device switches a driving motor using at least one switching means controlled by a microcomputer and is provided with a connection for a first power network and with a connection for a second power network, wherein the microcomputer is integrated in the switching device, wherein the switching device is provided with at least one signal input and the microcomputer is connected to the signal input, wherein the switching device switches the current flow for a driving motor connection disposed on the switching device and/or for the driving motor such that the driving motor connection and/or the driving motor can be connected to the connection for the first power network and/or to the connection for the second power network. The switching device (10) comprises at least one further connection (18) for a further driving motor (7), and at least one additional switching means (32, 34). The additional switching means (32, 34) switches the current flow for the further driving motor connection (18) and/or for the further driving motor (7) such that the further driving motor connection (18) and/or the further driving motor (7) can be connected to the connection for the first power network (12) and/or to the connection for the second power network (13).
