Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2484502A2] The machine has a height adjusting unit (6) controllably adjusting height of housing (5) with a rotor. A double-sided lever (9) is hinged at the housing, and a rotary bearing (10) is provided at an arm (9a) of the double sided lever for an upper introduction roll (4). Another arm (9b) is directly supported on a machine frame (13) over a bar (12) such that the housing is automatically adjusted with the rotor by an attachment of the upper introduction roll on a log in an altitude to a diameter of the log. A hydraulic hoisting device is supported at the machine frame.
