Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2011041919A1] The invention relates to a combing machine (KM), comprising a plurality of combing heads (K1-Kx) arranged next to each other, wherein the combed fibrous non-woven fabric (V) formed on the individual combing heads is combined into a sliver (F1) using provided means (33, 39) and fed to a pair (K) of press rolls and then discharged onto a conveying table (T), on which the sliver is fed to a subsequent drawing system (D) together with further slivers (F2 to Fx) discharged at adjacent combing heads, the slivers lying next to each other in a sliver composite (FV). In order to simplify prior solutions and to enable the automatic feeding of the slivers onto the conveying table, a guide element (FE) for the sliver (F1) discharged by the pair (K) of press rolls is attached between the respective pair (K) of press rolls and the conveying table (T).
