Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2309175A1] The invention relates to an asymmetrical reflector element for reflecting light emitted by one LED unit in order to illuminate a predetermined illumination area comprising - a first opening at a first end of the reflector element, defining a light inlet area and a second opening at the opposite second side thereof; and - a lateral area for reflecting the light emitted by the LED unit, said lateral area extending from the first end to the opposite second end; wherein - the lateral area is formed such that a line extending from at least one position of the inlet area in a right angle towards the second opening crosses the lateral area.
