Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2486842A2] The dishwasher has a door (3) for closing a rinsing container. A door seal (D1) is formed between an inner area (3b) of the door and the container, and another door seal is formed between a lower area of the door and the container. A lower area of a side piece (19) of the former seal is adapted to the form of the inner area of the door. The latter seal is arranged within or between lower ends of the side piece such that the latter seal bridges a gap between the side piece and the inner area of the door in a sealing manner. The latter seal is made from thermoplastic elastomer or silicone cord.
