Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2487011A2] The aid (1) has a support strip (2) with rulers (3a, 3b) pivoted from resting- and transport position into working position. The strip is tilted in the resting- and transport position and tilted out in the working position. An adjustable stop (5) is provided for bearing on a side area (6) or an edge of insulating elements. The stop is arranged as a movable tab (4) on the rulers and fixed in a desired position along longitudinal direction of the rulers. Distance of the stop to a cutting edge (34) of the strip corresponds to length of a to-be separated portion of the elements in the stop. The support strip is formed as an extruded section and made from light metal or plastic.
