The anchor e.g. chemical rock anchor (1), has an anchor plate (15) supported by an anchor nut (14) for resting on a rock (28). A hollow anchor tube (3) is completely made from metal i.e. steel, and glass fiber reinforced plastic. Components of the anchor tube are made from metal and plastic and serve for receiving tensile forces. The anchor tube has an inner portion at a distance of 5 percentage, 10 percentage or 20 percentage of a total length of the anchor tube to front and rear ends (36, 37). One component is arranged at the anchor tube in a direction of a longitudinal axis of the tube.

Ein Gesteinsanker (1), insbesondere zur Anwendung im Bergbau, umfassend ein Ankerrohr (3), eine Ankermutter (14), eine von der Ankermutter (14) gestützte Ankerplatte (15) zur Auflage auf dem Gestein (28), soll bei einer ausreichenden Dehnbarkeit und Zugfestigkeit schneidbar für eine vereinfachte Separation abgebauter Stücke des Gesteinsankers (1) sein. Diese Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst dass das Ankerrohr (3) wenigstens teilweise, insbesondere vollständig, aus Metall und Kunststoff besteht und die aus Metall und Kunststoff bestehende wenigstens eine Komponente des Ankerohres (3) zur Aufnahme von Zugkräften dient.
