[origin: WO2011045326A2] The invention relates to a filter device (100), comprising - a filter housing (10) having a raw-side inlet (12) and a clean-side outlet (14) for media to be filtered and - a forward-mounted part that is disposed in the region of the inlet (12) of the filter housing (10) and designed in particular as a cyclone pre-separator (20), - wherein the forward-mounted part (20) comprises a first part (30) and a second part (40), - wherein at least one fastening region (32) of the first part (30) made substantially of plastic is fastened to the raw side of the filter housing (10), and the second part (40) is braced between the first part (30) and the filter housing (10). In order to further develop such a filter device such that the forward-mounted part can be reliably fastened to the filter housing in a simple manner, the fastening region (32) of the first part (30) is screwed to the filter housing (10) using metal fastening elements (50, 54, 56, 60), and - at the upper side facing away from the filter housing (10) it has at least one pressing contour (70) for compensating for at least one tolerance of the dimensions of at least one of the elements to be screwed together, said contour - proceeding from the upper side of the fastening region (32) extending in the direction of the head (52) of the screw, and - being formed substantially of at least one plastic material, which can be deformed by means of applying a force generated by the screwing together of the metal fastening elements (50, 52, 56, 60), in particular which can be melted.
