Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2011045165A1] A winding device is known from the prior art with which a pipe produced in a roller system can be wound outside of the roller system. The pipe, which has already left the roller system, is then coiled or wound for transport in such a winding device. With respect to said prior art, the invention relates to a device and method enabling the finished, shaped pipe to be brought to a transportable state behind the roll stand while other sections of the pipe are in the loop stage or are just being shaped. The invention thus relates to a winding device (24) for a pipe (23) produced in a roller system having a bending unit (26) for curving the pipe, such that said pipe can be wound in a spiral shape around a first axis and a holding frame (25), wherein the bending device (24) is accommodated on the holding frame (25) in a pivoting manner around a second axis which is substantially perpendicular to the first axis. The invention also relates to a roller system having such a winding device and to a corresponding method.
