Especially advantageously, the second liquid component (4) is fed to the filling material line (8) filled at least partially with the first liquid component (3), and in order to determine the amount (M2) of the second liquid component (4) fed, the motion of the first liquid component (3) generated in the filling material line (7) by the second liquid component (4) fed is detected by means of the at least one flow rate measuring unit (9).
