[origin: WO2011067172A1] The invention relates to a lighting module (1) comprising a circuit board (2) populated with at least one light source (3) on the front face thereof, in particular a light-emitting diode, and further comprising a hollow light guide element (4) encompassing the circumference of at least one light source (3) and extending over and beyond the at least one light source (3). An inner face (4a) of the light guide element (4) is at least partially reflective and a front side opening of the light guide element (4) corresponds to a light emission opening (L) of the lighting module (1).
