[origin: EP2489299A2] The water-conducting domestic appliance has an operating space and a softening device for washing or rinsing liquid, which is assigned to a regenerating device with a brine reservoir. A storage container (3) is arranged to the operating space in thermal conductive manner. The storage container holds a fleet volume (21) of regenerating volume (22) for producing the brine reservoir. An independent claim is also included for a dishwasher, which has a circulation pump.
