[origin: EP2489818A1] The device (1) has a clamping member (2) moved toward another clamping member (3) under action of clamping control part (6) so as to enclose an item/package with clamping pressure. A gripping part (40) is extended away from a clamping area (S) and moved from a closed position to a remote position of the area under action of external tensile force. A movable connection element (70) is connected to the latter member and moved to cause movement of the latter member during the movement of the part so as to enclose the item/package with clamping pressure greater than the former pressure.
