[origin: WO2011047498A1] A polymer material which is a copolymer of polyethylene terephthalate and polyoxyethylene terephthalate modified by attachment of a silicone group which is covalently bonded either directly or via an optional linker group to the copolymer is provided. An emulsion comprising a particle and an aqueous continuous phase and preparing method thereof are provided. The particle comprises (a) the modified copolymer and (b) a silicone liquid. A laundry composition comprising the modified copolymer or emulsion and the use of the modified copolymer to increase deposition of silicone onto fabric are also provided.
