[origin: WO2011047785A1] The invention relates to a compressor system (1) for cryogenic media, comprising an oscillating piston-type compressor (3) driven by a drive motor (4), wherein the drive motor (4) is arranged together with the compressor (3) in a pressure capsule (5), and a pressure present in the pressure capsule (5) acts on a piston underside of an oscillating piston of the compressor (3). In order to improve the power consumption of the compressor system, according to the invention the input pressure of the compressor (3) is applied to the pressure capsule (5).
