The fitting device has a flap (12) which is provided with a fitting (18) provided with two mutually pivotable fitting portions (19,20). A hinge (25) is provided with two mutually pivotable hinge portions (26,27). The fitting and the hinge are combined together into a component. The fitting and hinge each have mounting interfaces (24a,24b) which are matched to one another such that the fitting and hinge are fixed or fastened to each other.
