[origin: EP2494908A2] A washing tank has top portion equipped with an upper basket (22) for receiving items to be washed. The upper basket has a horizontally extending bottom wall (30) and a perpendicular side wall (28). The upper basket includes a fixed portion (32) and a movable portion (34) movable relative to fixed portion. The portion (38) of the bottom wall (30) is movable between different height positions with respect to the portion (40) of the bottom wall.
