[origin: EP2495150A2] The modular luggage rack (1) has several storage shelves (2) for receiving pieces of luggage, which are successively arranged in longitudinal direction. Each of the shelves is connected to the mounting flange (5) of the rail vehicle (6), which is remotely arranged from the hollow section (8) of a receiving bearing (10). A clamping unit (3) is provided with a bearing pin (12) connected to the receiving bearing, such that the bearing pin is fastened to the holder structure (16) of the rail vehicle.
