[origin: EP2495181A2] The dispenser has a housing (1) exhibiting a retainer (9) for rotatable arrangement of a supply roller and provided with a feedthrough slots (20, 21). A carrier strip with labels is drawn from the housing through the feedthrough slots and arranged on the supply roller. A holding device (28) is provided on a side of the housing, where the side is turned towards the feedthrough slots. The holding device is formed by a groove (29) that is provided with a hook-shaped element (30) at the side, where the hook-shaped element overlaps the groove.
