Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2495380A2] The fitting (10) has a tip opening limit assembly comprising an arm (11) whose end is longitudinally mounted on a coupling element (12) e.g. pusher, in a folding circumferential direction. The arm cooperates with a stopper (17) for limiting a tip opening. An adjusting element (15) e.g. bimetallic strip, is supported at a thrust bearing (14). The adjusting element directly or indirectly cooperates with a position limiting unit (16) to shift the limiting unit as a function of temperature, where the stopper or another stopper is arranged at the limiting unit for the coupling element. The shape or dimensions of the adjusting element changes based on the temperature.
