The inductor (3) has closed core (4) which are wound with coils (5,6). The coils with commutative electric conductors (a,b) form a filter circuit. The coils are wound over the same portion (7) of the periphery of the core.

Bei einer hochstromfesten, stromkompensierten Funkentstördrossel (3) sind Spulen (5, 6) über denselben Abschnitt (7) des Umfangs eines Kerns (4) gewickelt. Der Abschnitt (7) beträgt mehr als die Hälfte des Gesamtumfangs des Kerns (4). Hierdurch hat die Funkentstördrossel (3) auch bei hohen Stromstärken eine hohe Dämpfung.
