Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2011055070A1] The invention relates to a system (SS) for supporting at least one passenger in a passenger compartment (H) of a vehicle (V). Said system (SS) includes at least one seat (SI1) comprising a seat portion (AS1) secured in a folding manner to a backrest (DS1) and including two lateral pairs of legs (P211, P221), one of which can be folded and the other one of which cannot be folded. The seat portion (AS1) is mounted such as to be rotatable relative to the upper ends of the legs (P211, P221) of the non-folding pair, such as to be rotated downwards about a substantially horizontal axis once the folding pair is folded under the seat portion (AS1) and the backrest (DS1) is folded against said seat portion (AS1), thus defining a loading area next to the folded seat (SI1).
