Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2011054657A1] The invention relates to a radio transmitter (10, 10a, 10b) for remotely controlling a gate drive, comprising a transmitter (26), which is designed to transmit at least one remote control signal (20) encoded by means of a signal code for remotely controlling the gate drive and for transmitting at least one inheritance signal (40) for passing the signal code to a second radio transmitter (10b). In order to create a simple yet secure radio transmitter (10, 10a, 10b), according to the invention the transmitter (26) is designed to transmit the at least one remote control signal (20) in frequency modulation and to transmit the at least one inheritance signal (40) in amplitude modulation. The invention further relates to a gate drive system comprising at least two such radio transmitters (10a, 10b) and to an inheritance and operating method which can be carried out by the radio transmitters.
