The device has a forming roller (5), a counter-roller (12), and a roll gap (20) formed between the forming and counter-rollers and adapted to perform elongated metal material (6) e.g. sheet-metal band. The forming roller includes an imprint structure (4) on an outer surface, where the imprint structure is formed through the roll gap on the material while passing through the material. The forming roller includes driving elements (3) that are engaged with geometry elements (7) e.g. hole, of the material passing through the roll gap and arranged on the outer surface of the forming roller. An independent claim is also included for a device for forming an elongated metal material.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Rollenumformeinrichtung zum Umformen eines mit Geometrieelementen (7), insbesondere Löchern, versehenen Materials (6), mit zumindest einer Umformrolle (5) und zumindest einer Gegenrolle (12), wobei zwischen der Umformrolle (5) und der Gegenrolle (12) ein Walzspalt (20) zum Durchführen des Materials (6) ausgebildet ist, und wobei die Umformrolle (5) auf ihrer Mantelfläche eine Abformstruktur (4) aufweist, die beim Durchlaufen des Materials (6) durch den Walzspalt (20) auf das Material (6) abformt. Erfindungsgemäss ist vorgesehen, dass die Umformrolle (5) Mitnehmerelemente (3) für einen Eingriff mit den Geometrieelementen (7) des durch den Walzspalt (20) hindurch laufenden Materials (6) aufweist.
