[origin: EP2497876A2] The device has a base frame (4), whose upper edge extends to a hot tub top edge (2) during a capping operation, where multiple guide elements are operatively connected to the base frame. A cover element (3), is partially protruded into the base frame, where the cover element is guided in a control manner by the guide elements. The guide elements are laterally arranged according to a transport direction (16) of the cover element. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a lamella for a cover element for covering a hot tub; and (2) a cover element for covering a hot tub.
