Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2011058120A1] The invention relates to a contact system for each pole of a low-voltage switchgear, comprising a rotary contact mounted movably in a rotor housing 4 against a spring force. The contact system consists of at least one rotary contact body 1, 2, which forms two lever arms 11, 12, each having a lever arm end, and at the opposing lever arm ends 11, 12 of which contact pieces 112, 122 are arranged. Fixed contacts 5, 6 are present, each cooperating with the contact piece 112, 122 of each lever arm 11, 12, wherein each lever arm 11, 12 is acted on by a spring 13, 14. The springs have a first support at one end on the rotary contact body 1, 2 and a second support at the other end on the rotor housing 4. According to the invention, the one support of a spring 13, 14 at one end takes place on the at least one rotary contact body 1 by means of engagement directly with the rotary contact body 1, and both springs 13, 14 are arranged exclusively on one side 111, 121 of the rotary contact body 1, 2. A preferred embodiment comprises two rotary contact bodies 1, 2, which are arranged next to each other parallel to the longitudinal sides thereof.
