Abstract (en)
The method involves machining a V-shaped groove, along a folding line (P), on a thick metal sheet (1) of a mechanically welded structure, where the groove is defined by two intersecting lateral planes (2a, 2b). A recess (3) widening the bottom of the groove is machined, where the recess comprises a bulge (3c) at the bottom of the groove. The thick metal sheet of the structure is folded along the folding line such that the intersecting planes are supported on one another.

L'invention a pour objet une structure mécanosoudée et un procédé utilisé pour obtenir cette structure. Le procédé permet la mise en forme d'une tôle (1) de forte épaisseur, comportant au moins une étape de pliage le long d'une ligne de pliure (P) et caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte les étapes suivante : on usine sur la tôle (1) plane une rainure (2) suivant la ligne de pliure (P) prévue, on usine ensuite un évidement (3) élargissant le fond de la rainure (2), on plie enfin la tôle (1) le long de la ligne de pliure (P) suivant l'angle de pliage souhaité.
