Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2500473A1] The method involves lowering a component (1) which is in form of tubular hollow structure, from floating position with horizontally oriented longitudinal axis, so that reduction takes place down to sea floor (3) or upto defined position. The component is held by manipulation device (8) in vertical position. The component is lowered with its lower end on sea floor. A drilling device (12) is provided for drilling borehole in sea floor. The component is lowered into sea floor based on penetration rate into borehole. The component is fixed in borehole after reaching its final depth.
