Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2500481A1] The interjoist (1) has an upper face (10A), a lower face (10B) and two opposite lateral faces (10C, 10D) and two transversal faces connecting the upper face and the lower face, where one of the side faces defines a vertical supporting lateral spoiler (12) for supporting the interjoist on a floor beam. An internal and opened longitudinal slot (30) extends from the lateral faces at the level of a horizontal support surface (22) or under the horizontal support surface toward inside of a body of the interjoist. The interjoist is made of foamed plastic material. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for fabrication of an interjoist (2) a method for construction of a floor.
