The mounting element has a flat-shaped base part (11) which has a coupling section (18) formed for coupling with a carrier rail (31). A surface portion (25a) of the base part is surrounded opposite to another surface portion along a bending edge (23) in the area of the coupling section. The surface portions cooperate at a common support point (17), in order to support the carrier rail in a loading direction (B). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a mounting element.

Ein Montageelement für Tragschienen, insbesondere für abhängte Decken oder dergleichen, umfasst ein zumindest bereichsweise flächig ausgebildetes Basisteil, das einen zur Kopplung mit einer Tragschiene ausgebildeten Kopplungsabschnitt aufweist. Im Bereich des Kopplungsabschnitts ist ein erstes Flächenstück des Basisteils gegenüber einem zweiten Flächenstück entlang einer Biegekante umgebogen.
