[origin: EP2500499A2] The system has a drive motor (30), a drive carrier (31) and two pivot arms (20, 21) for moving a door leaf (10) between a closed position and an open position, where the door leaf is laterally supported on a vehicle at a primary leading edge (11) and a secondary leading edge (12) in the closed position. A locking device is arranged at the pivot arm of the secondary leading edge and comprises two top dead center driving levers (41, 42), which are lockable in a top dead center at the secondary leading edge by a reaction moment of the drive motor in the closed position of the door leaf. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a locking system.
