Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2500502A2] The set (1) has a trough-like guide element (2) with a fastening unit (4) e.g. screw, for fixing the guide element at a window frame (10) and/or a wall. A window sill element (3) sealed with silicone is cut into required length and inserted into the guide element after completion of plastering and painting operation. A window is arranged in the wall with a thermal insulating layer (11) and plaster layers (12, 13). The guide element has a guide rail (5) for the element in a region of a window soffit (14). The rail is integrated in an undercut (15) of the insulating layer. The window sill element is made of synthetic or natural stone. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a window sill.
