Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2500533A2] The engine has working cylinder with two intake valves (78) and exhaust valve (80). The valve timing of mixed camshaft (18) associated with intake and exhaust valves relative to the valve timing of other cam is adjusted in early or later stages. A cam carrier (54) is arranged axially displaceable on the joint camshaft. The different cam paths (60,62,64,66) are formed on cam carrier for cams (24,26). The grooves (56,58), driving pin (92) and cam pin (96) are provided between first and second axial positions, for axial displacement of cam carrier with respect to mixed camshaft.
