[origin: EP2500658A2] The device (1) has a combustion chamber (2) for combustion of fuel from biomass. An exhaust port is provided for removal of particles generated by combustion, and flue gases. A flue gas outlet (33) is provided for transferring flue gas between heating device and peripheral discharge apparatus. A heat exchanger (34) is provided for extracting heat energy from flue gases. A flue gas blower is provided to blow flue gas in flue gas duct of heat exchanger. A metal profile is provided in the flue gas duct that is provided with two channel portions (36,37) that extend vertically side by side.
